A Brief Club History

The Lindisfarne Football Club was formed in 1911 and competed in the Southern Tasmanian Football League untill 1948, then joining the Tasmanian Amateur Football League (Southern Division) until that league ceased to exsit in 1995. In 1996 the club joined the newley formed Southern Football League which comprimised teams from the Southern Amatuer Football League and the Huon Football Association, finishing on top of the ladder in its first year in the competion. The club regularly featured in finals campains being Runners-Up on many occasions in all divisions Senior, Reserves and Thirds, predominantly throughout the 1980's and the early 1990's

Over the years the Lindisfarne Football Club has appointed some well credentialed Senior Coaches. Many have vast TFL/ State League experience, some names that come to mind are:
